With winter now coming to a close and summer fast approaching, plenty of people are feeling the effects of “just one more chip” and “An extra hour’s sleep won’t hurt”. And with the sun coming out again, many are looking for a solution to those Christmas weight gains. Fortunately, we are here to help. We know that sometimes you need a quick and effective solution for your body and it just so happens that, when it comes to efficient weight loss and body shaping, we here at Arden Clinic have some of the best treatments available. Of course for those who want to go a more traditional route, we do have some tips for you as well.
Quick and efficient treatments
Fat freeze is one such treatment, a great way to boost your weight loss by freezing and denaturing your fat cells, which is then sweated out by you during your daily exercise. This makes it a great way to deal with those stubborn pockets of fat that you struggle to get rid of. After which you may find yourself needing to shape yourself back up, that’s where our sculpture comes in. Sculpture is the equivalent of an intense workout (think, 20,000 squats) in the span of 30 minutes. This makes it perfect for getting rid of small pockets of fat and toning parts of your body like your abdomen. Also, this means that it can be used for butt augmentation and non-surgical butt-lift. Sculpture does this is by inducing rapid bodily contractions through your muscle tissue and passing electrical currents through its applicators. Lightning fast with results being visible straight away, Sculpture will make sure your body is ready for any event.
Tone the cellulite away
If you’ve been struggling with cellulite, then we have just the thing. Emtone is a groundbreaking treatment for all 5 causes of cellulite, rather than the symptoms. This means that the results are much longer lasting and almost twice as fast as other treatments. By using a combination of radiofrequency and targeted pressure, Emtone is able to help with the loss of skin elasticity, enlarged fat chambers and increased blood flow, not to mention how it helps metabolic waste retention and the fibrous bands that actually cause the dimples to form in the first place. By warming up the skin to around 42ºc, your body’s collagen undergoes structural changes that tighten your collagen fibres and synthesises more collagen in order to achieve better skin tightening and firming. Adding this with the sculpture makes for a very powerful combo in reaching your body goals. Of course Emtone is not permanent and there is yet to be a permanent solution to Cellulite, but it is far better than any other treatment available and lasts far longer.

Cheap tips rather than cheat chips
Of course most of these cost a lot of money that some may not be able to afford so for those who prefer the old fashioned way we decided to look into some good tips to help boost your weight loss journey without spending a penny.
One of the most important things that should always be said first is that not everyone’s body is the same. You may not see the same results as others even though you’re doing the exact same thing, this is completely normal and it’s why you should learn what works best for you through simple trial and error.
Another very important thing that should always be mentioned, DO NOT SKIP MEALS. Starving yourself will most definitely not help weight loss as your body will try to retain as much fat as possible causing the opposite effect of what you want. This is why the NHS recommends always eating breakfast, eating at regular times and to drink plenty of water, especially if you’re doing a lot of exercise. Now this may seem obvious but I know plenty of people who will forgo eating meals thinking that will help since they clearly won’t be putting on any weight if they’re not eating anything to put the weight on.
A good follow up to this is calorie counting, keeping track of your calories each meal helps you plan out what to eat and how much so you’re not starving but you’re also getting that extra boost to your weight loss. There are plenty of calorie counting apps that can help with keeping track and a few of those can even help with meal planning personalised for you. This is a great way to keep yourself on track while still giving you a meal you’d eat even without being on a diet, because if there’s any downside to be said about dieting it’d have to be giving up food you love to meet your daily goal.
Even the NHS agrees that giving up those foods would be a bad idea as then you’re just going to be craving them even more and struggle to keep up with it. That’s why you always give yourself a little cheat day as a reward, make sure it’s not too indulgent though, otherwise you’re just going to set yourself back to square one again. That being said, it’s a good idea not to keep junk food in stock otherwise that cheat day will very quickly turn into a cheat week.
Speaking of which, alcohol is just as bad as most fizzy drinks, with your standard glass of wine carrying upwards of 133kcal. This can very easily ruin even the most foolproof of diets so it’s a good idea to stay off that as well, even if you’re just a casual drinker.
I realise these tips may seem too simple to work but that’s really all there is to keeping healthy, keep yourself active, keep an eye on your calories and, I can’t stress this enough, plan as much as possible for you. Everyone’s body is different and won’t look the same so don’t weigh yourself up to all those celebrities and influencers online, god knows how many filters and edits they’ve gone through.
