How does it Work?

3D-Visual Rejuvenation works by using CO2 to deliver superficial energy into the skin, creating tiny white ablated dots of heat stimulated tissue through the skin layers. The resulting inflammatory response stimulates new collagen and proteoglycan production, improving the thickness and hydration of the dermis and epidermis, resulting in a healthier, glowing, youthful appearance of the skin.

Am I a suitable candidate for this treatment?
Yes! As long as you are over the age of 18 and don’t have any of our medical contra-indications (including active acne), you are suitable to have this treatment.

Is the Treatment Safe?
Yes, this treatment is delivered by trained laser professionals who will advise you on your pre and post care so that you can achieve the best results in a safe manner.

How long does the facial take?
The treatments last for approximately 30 minutes; however, your appointment time will be up to 60 minutes to allow time for numbing cream to be applied.

What will I feel during the treatment?
As numbing cream is applied, during this treatment you will experience only a slight discomfort and heat beneath the skin. As this is an aesthetic treatment, your skin can feel warm for up to 12 hours post treatment.

How will my skin react to the treatment?
You will experience erythema (redness) post treatment. This can last for 48-72 hours but your laser professional will cool your skin to reduce some redness before leaving the clinic. During the skin’s healing process of regenerating new skin tissue, the treated skin will gradually flake away leaving the skin feeling smooth and hydrated.

What Results Can I expect?
The results from this treatment are progressive through a course. Expected results include reduced lines and wrinkles, smoothed skin texture and a reduction in scarring and pitting. Enlarged pores and sun damaged skin are also improved from this treatment.

How Many Treatments are recommended?
We recommend a course of 3-6 treatments depending on your skin concerns, carried out 4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments may be recommended by your laser specialist to ensure long lasting results.

Is there Any Downtime following treatment?
There is no downtime however, this intense treatment should not be seen as a ‘red carpet facial’ due to the redness and flakiness of the skin for up to 5 days post treatment.

What is the aftercare required?
After having a CO2 facial, you should avoid any heat on the treatment area to reduce irritation. Healing and hydrating products are recommended to use on your skin during this time and SPF is essential. Make up should also be avoided for 48 hours post treatment as the skin goes through its healing process.
