Can thread veins be removed permanently?
Once a successfully treated vessel has closed, it should not reopen. However, laser treatment cannot prevent new thread veins from developing in the future.
Will one treatment be enough?
Some small vessels respond well after one session. Multiple vessels, deeper veins or areas of widespread redness may require a course of treatments.
Can you treat veins around the nose?
Yes. Visible vessels around the sides of the nose are one of the most commonly treated areas.
Can you treat spider veins on the legs?
Selected small and superficial leg veins may be suitable. Larger, raised or varicose veins require assessment by an appropriate medical or vascular professional.
Is laser suitable for rosacea?
Laser may help reduce selected visible vessels and background redness associated with rosacea, but it does not cure the underlying condition. Rosacea can flare or recur over time.
Is there any downtime?
Most clients can continue with their normal routine, but redness, swelling, darkening or light crusting may be visible temporarily.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
It is generally best to keep the area clean immediately after treatment. Your practitioner will advise when makeup can safely be applied.
Can thread veins return?
Treated vessels may clear successfully, but new vessels can develop due to genetics, ageing, hormones, sun exposure, temperature changes and certain lifestyle factors.
