Difference between Laser & IPL?
Laser is one coherent beam of light that reaches its target chromophore (follicle) 810 nanometers deep under the skin. IPL is emitted through a broad spectrum of wavelengths that reaches the target chromophore and other chromophores such as the sebaceous gland, as a result can reduce acne and any other skin conditions such as acne or pigmentation/age spots simultaneously.

FAQS
I have Polycystic Ovaries (PCOS), will Laser Hair Removal on me?
Yes, it will reduce the hair drastically even after a few sessions. Our revolutionary technology will give you a long lasting result which means shaving, threading, waxing a lot less often. However whilst you have PCOS, it will be highly likely you are required to have top up treatments after your course of treatments.
Does the Laser Hair Removal procedure hurt?
All our sophisticated Class 4 medical Lasers and IPL technology are virtually pain free. You may feel a slight sensation similar to an elastic band feeling however this is comfortable and is normally a result of courser hair on sensitive areas of the body & face. This sensation will reduce throughout your course of treatments as the hair reduces.
Do I shave in between my treatments?
We advise you shave in between your treatments as soon as you see growth because it is important to shred the hair shaft to see a reduction.
When you follow this strict aftercare requirement, you efforts will see the reward!
When will I see a reduction in hair after the procedure?
It is normal for you to see a reduction within 3-4 weeks of a treatment however you must still persist with aftercare and your course of treatments.
How many treatments do I need?
The normal recommendation is 6-8 sessions however through our successful clinical experience and history of working with thousands of clients, you are likely to see a great reduction quite early on in your treatment plan. A top up treatment is always recommended every 6 months to eradicate any new hair growth.
What kind of technology do you use?
We are home to various Lasers including Nd:YAG and Diode.
Proud to have worked alongside a team of highly sophisticated engineers with 15 years of Research & Development in producing a state-of-the-art Class 4 medical Laser! Our technology is Safe, FDA AND CE approved technology and only available at Arden Clinic.
Suitable for ALL skin types and symptoms, we have something for everyone to see a dramatic result.
Are there risks?
Like any other Aesthetic procedures, risks are involved. Laser and IPL hair removal are relatively low invasive treatments however must be administered by highly trained professionals, who have experience. We carry out a medical questionnaire and patch test beforehand in order to determine the correct parameters for your skin. It is important you read through and follow strict aftercare guidelines provided at your consultation.
